Both the Model 1000 and 2000 tailgate spreaders feature a low profile design which provides an unobstructed rear view from the cab. They're ideal for spreading dry #1 rock salt, calcium chloride and other ice melting materials.

• 12V DC motor mounted inside a sealed housing in the hopper for corrosion protection
• Powder coated steel auger and agitator
• Optional receiver hitch mount which allows for easy mounting or removal on any truck with a Class IV trailer hitch with 1000 lbs. tongue rating
  
• Choice of in-cab "on/off" switch or variable speed control (below left)
• Choice of "fixed" mount or the dual SWING AWAY® design which allows for easy access without removing the tailgate (below right)
