Hoffco’s power earth augers were conceived right from the start for medium and heavy duty earth drilling projects. From industrial to commercial jobs ,Hoffco’s post hole diggers readily handle any drilling task. Hoffco’s earth augers are low maintenance and high quality pieces of equipment. The transmission is made with hardened gears for longer life.

Our design utilizes a 3 ½ inch centrifugal clutch delivering more than enough torque to the earth drill. Plus grips for operator comfort and control. Kill switch located at the operator's >fingertips for extra safety. Hoffco’s earth augers are designed for years of trouble free service and are built tough to last and perform beyond your expectations

The Hoffco PH980E is a one man auger powered by an 85 cc / 3 hp American made Tecumseh® engine.  It can accept earth drills from 2” to 8” in diameter and each are 30” tall. 

There is an optional 18” extension available.  Great for building decks, installing fences or digging mailbox holes.

• Pengo® Tips: hard face 1 side, hard face 2 sides, carbides and chisles.
• 7 interchangeable teeth, fully forged and heat treated.  Designed thin for fast penetration without sacrificing strength
• Quick tooth change through patented procedure assures less downtime for the operator.

*10” and 12” augers are not recommended by Hoffco Outdoor Power Equipment for the single operator earth drill.

TWO OPERATOR AUGER

The Hoffco PH2000E is a two person auger powered by a 4 cycle, 5 hp American made Tecumseh® engine.  It can accept earth drills from 2” to 12” in diameter and each are 30” tall.  There is an optional 18” extension available.  Great for planting large shrubs, installing fences, building decks and digging mailbox holes. 

The Hoffco PH5000 is a two person drill powered by a 4 cycle, 5 hp Honda® engine.  It can accept earth augers from 2” to 12” in diameter and each are 30” tall.  There is an optional 18” extension available. 

Great for planting trees, building a fence or deck and digging mailbox holes.
