The FISHER® UTS-696 under tailgate spreader was designed to provide problem free, reliable service with minimum maintenance. Designed to fit 96" wide standard dump and utility bodies, it's capable of spreading any ice control material
from 4'-40'.

TROUGH
The trough assembly is 7 GA with 1/4" end plates. A one-piece combination cover and rear panel is hinged to provide access to the auger for easy cleaning. The spreader has quick disconnect mounting so the trough can be easily removed. The unit won't interfere with the operation of the tailgate or dump body. Also available in stainless steel.

AUGER & DIRECT DRIVE
The auger is 6" in diameter with 3/8" thick, 4" pitch continuous flights with reverse flights on the road side of discharge. Auger end is mounted to a 1-1/2" two bolt, sealed, self-aligning bearing with grease fitting. A high torque, low speed hydraulic motor (15 GPM, 2000 psi) couples directly to the auger for low maintenance operation. Unique auger "lock-out" feature is standard.

SPINNER ASSEMBLY
A poly spinner is standard to provide longer life. The disc is 18" diameter and is self-leveling, adjusts right or left and has 6 vanes. A shield in front of the spinner protects from thrown material. An adjustable poly deflector is included as standard equipment.
