The Way Overseeders were Meant to Work – Now with Plastic Seed Box
The Billy Goat OS overseeder has the seed box located in front of the vertislicing blades where it belongs. The blade action helps to “cut” seed into the soil thereby improving the soil-to-seed contact and germination rate.
This configuration also requires less seed than do other machines that drop the seed behind the slicing reel, leaving the seed on top of the thatch instead of in the soil. The new seed box holds more seed and weighs 28 pounds less than prior units.
The OS easily converts to a power rake, making this an extremely versatile machine and an excellent investment. Use the OS for power raking in the spring and overseeding in the fall! |
